PORTFOLIO
Art Installation on the Strand
My drawings have been printed on large scale and installed as a hoarding outside of St Clement Danes Church on the Strand during building work on the church. I was commissioned by St Clement Danes Church, Universal Stone, Sheppard Architects, Stace, Hurst Pierce + Malcolm, the Diocese of London & the Royal Air Force (RAF).
The hoarding was a planning condition of the London Diocese to tell the story of St Clement Danes Church for public engagement. I drew from the physical buildings, photographs and architectural plans. The drawings are vector files so they could be printed 3 metres high and high resolution scans of my papercuts.
I also created designs from the architects drawings and photographs to explain why the building works were taking place. It has been installed since December 2024. The address of the church is St Clement Danes, the Central Church of the RAF, Strand, London, WC2R 1DH.
Playing Cards of the 52 churches in the City of London built by the office of Sir Christopher Wren
I created a pack of playing cards of the 52 churches in the City of London built by the office of Sir Christopher Wren. Temple Bar and the Monument, secular architecture in the City of London built by the office of Sir Christopher Wren, are the Jokers in the pack. I used resources from London Metropolitan Archives and the Friends of the City Churches for the 19 churches that no longer exist. Also for St Mary Aldermanbury that was taken down and rebuilt in Fulton, Missouri, USA.
This is a map I created of all the churches featured in my pack of cards, in approximately the same location as they were originally built. The playing cards are ordered by the date of the Saint of the churches’ Feast Day. They are poker cards ranking Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2 and Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs. You can see the latest edition of my playing cards here.
The original images of the churches were papercuts. I also ran events connected to the my playing cards and Wren 300 at London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE. My playing cards were selected for an exhibition Cloud of Witnesses at St John’s Waterloo, funded and supported by Art + Christianity; God Who Speaks, St John’s Waterloo; Tha Catholic Bishops’ Conference; Culham St Gabriel Trust and Bible Society. Images of my playing cards are available as a free educational resource for primary school teachers across the UK through RE Today and NATRE.
I exhibited in Wren on Paper in Autumn 2023 at the Alan Baxter Gallery, Cowcross St in London. My exhibition comprised of my playing cards and 52 papercuts of the churches in the City of London, built by the office of Sir Christopher Wren after the Great Fire of London. Alongside photographer and printmaker James Newton, the exhibition was a celebration of Wren 300, 300 years since the death of Christopher Wren.
St Paul’s Cathedral
My playing cards, greeting cards and prints are sold at St Paul’s Cathedral. My playing cards are also sold at Daunt Books Cheapside.
St Stephen Walbrook
I was commissioned by St Stephen Walbrook church to make a drawings and papercut of the interior of the dome. The church was built by Sir Christopher Wren as a prototype for St Paul’s Cathedral. The drawing was papercut for the church and printed as a greeting card for sale in the church. It was also used for a workshop inside the church for primary schools linked to City of London Corporation.
Hopetoun House
I have created a digital drawing and papercut commission of Hopetoun House, a stately home on the shores of the Firth of Forth in South Queensferry near Edinburgh. I made the commission for a member of the family who grew up at the house and for a couple who were married at the house.

My drawing and papercut of Battersea Power Station was used for an installation and workshops at art’otel Battersea Power Station from December 2025 - January 2026. National Trust
I have worked in freelance jobs at two National Trust Houses in London since 2023. 575 Wandsworth Road has a hand-carved fretwork interior created by Khadambi Asalache. I have run papercutting workshops, cyanotype printmaking and papercutting fan workshops where participants papercut fans inspired by a fan in the house collection. I have run events for the public and members of the National Trust including the Wandsworth Arts Fringe, Lambeth Heritage Festival and exhibitions and events at Battersea Arts Centre.

I have also run events at Sutton House, a National Trust house in Hackney, one of London’s last remaining Tudor houses. This included workshops inspired by rare surviving examples of decorative papercutting by schoolgirls in the 17th century that were discovered under the floorboards of the house. I am currently creating work for them for their exhibition Lost at Play: 500 Years of Fun and Games. Making workshops inspired by playing cards discovered beneath the floorboards of the house in the 1990s.
